The country saw 378 forest fires last week, the fire service said Wednesday.
In an emergency update, Janice Artopoios Attica, Central and Western Greece, Central Macedonia, the Ionian Islands, Sporades, Crete, Eastern Agenia, and Dodekanez identified the most vulnerable areas.
In addition to forest fires, firefighters were called in last week to help with 882 city fires and 657 other fires.
There were 41 forest fires between 24 hours and 6 pm, mostly due to high temperatures, strong winds and low humidity.
The largest fires were in Coridalos Schistos, Portes in Achia, Shimatari in Viotia, Fokida Sernikaki, Corkia Cranio in Argolida, in Porto Germeno in Attica, Agios Joanis in Corinth, and Corifi in Ilya.
