WALLA WALLA COUNTY, Wash. – Two wildfires along Highway 12 merged into one large fire on June 22 near Boise Cascade. Multiple agencies responded, including Walla Walla Fire District 5, Franklin County Fire District 3, the Pasco Fire Department and the U.S. Department of Fish and Wildlife.

Crews were on scene for several hours before it was cleared after 10 p.m.
