Please join us in welcoming the newest addition to the NASF team, Policy Coordinator Eli Lewis!
Eli’s main responsibility in his new role will be to help the association reinforce the value of state and private forests on Capitol Hill and throughout the Capital Strip. Eli is eager to support NASF Policy Director Robyn Whitney in growing relationships with policymakers and partner organizations advancing a shared custodial approach to forest policy.
Before starting with NASF, Eli held a public policy internship at the National Association of State Department of Agriculture, where he developed an understanding of the federal legislative process and the fundamentals of the association. Eli holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Vermont in Political Science and Jazz Studies.
Outside of work, Eli enjoys being part of the District ***** scene and attending his world-class museums. He likes art history, painting and tennis. Want to get to know Elin better? Start a conversation! Ask him about the intersection of *****, art and politics!
