The Aman Amanzoi Resort was hit by a wildfire on Monday, forcing guests and staff to leave luxury homes in Puerto Heli, Greece.
Operations at the resort have been temporarily suspended.
In a statement, Amanzo confirmed that the fire had “reached the property.”
However, the resort added that the extent of the damage was “not as great as initially feared” and that all the main areas and villas remained unaffected.
According to Amanzo, the damage was mostly limited to the exterior of some pavilion buildings as well as to landscaping.
Amanzo said recently arrested guests are being contacted and that information on the resort will be provided “on time”.
