The Infocam scheme in Castilla-La Mancha has activated its Level 2 warning for two forest fires burning and threatening people and property.
More than a hundred workers are fighting a serious forest fire that has been declared in the Valdepeñas de la Sierra municipality of Castilla-La Mancha in the Sierra Norte de Guadalajara this afternoon, Tuesday July 19.
Another 30 airlines are battling the fire. It is burning near the border with the community of Madrid, and Madrid 112 emergency service It has deployed 10 land routes along with 4 aerial routes as part of the relief effort.

A stage 2 forest fire in Castilla-La Mancha has been declared for the fire by the Infocomm plan. This is done when an emergency situation caused by one or more forest fires has a significant impact on people or property outside the forest.
Due to the severity of the fire and the spread of smoke, about 70 people were evacuated from three towns in the area: Valdepeñas de la Sierra, Valdesottos and Tortuero, all in the state of Guadalajara.

A second forest fire broke out near the city of Chiloches in the state of Guadalajara. Seven land resources and 31 firefighters are battling the fire.
