Highway 21 back open with pilot car in operation due to wildfire near Stanley


Stanley, Idaho –

Idaho Transport Department State Highway 21 reopened after more than three hours of closure, ITID reported on Sunday evening. A wildfire nearby.

Due to a wildfire near Banner Summit, the highway was closed between Grand Post 95 and 109 Grandjean Road and Bear Valley Road.

The highway is being operated by a pilot. ITD still has a road report warning drivers to watch wildfires.
