Wildfires in Texas and Idaho produce the most smoke

The Moose Fire in eastern Idaho is generating copious amounts of smoke on Wednesday and is expected to travel southeast through Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri. Fires in Texas also produce smoke. The smoke mixture created on Tuesday and Wednesday drifts to most states in the Midwest, Southeast and Northeast.
Red flag warnings about severe wildfire dangers are in effect Wednesday in parts of California, Wyoming, South Dakota, Oklahoma and Texas.
