On Monday night, a campfire erupted in San Francisco, and the campfire smelled.

San Francisco Fire Department spokesman Lt. Jonathan Bacter told SFGATE at 6 p.m.

The blaze broke out near Twin Peak Bolevard and Panorama, burning in the grassy plains of the hill.

As of 6 p.m., no constructions were threatened and no evacuation was required

The fire department asked residents of the Twin Peaks to close windows and doors to prevent smoke from entering their homes.

The video posted on Citizens shows a cloud of smoke above the twin peaks.

The cause of the fire is being investigated, Bacster said.

This is a growing story and will be updated as more information is released.
