VIDEO : Multiple wildfires hit Gard and Bouches-du-Rhône regions

On Thursday (July 7), several fires broke out in the Gard and Buch-du-Ron regions. Eight homes and warehouses were damaged near Arls on the Ron River in southern France.

The fire brigade in a house in Arls could do nothing. The owner found the faults of the fire, helpless. The fire first touched the trees, then the roof. Inside, the memory of a lifetime was lost.

Nearly 200 firefighters were mobilized, and four canadians struggled with wind and high temperatures.
