Amanzoi, a luxury resort on the Gulf of Argolicos, announced on Saturday that it had temporarily resumed operations due to a fire in Karakia, near Cranidi.
Some beach villas will be open to guests, followed by several tents starting July 21, the hotel said. The fire caused minor damage to some of the resort’s tents, and all services and facilities are now fully operational, the owner said in a statement.
Significantly, Amanzo announced that forest reforestation work has begun in the area.
On its 10th birthday, the resort in northern Peloponnes thanked local officials and volunteers for their support, as well as for the complex customers and guests.
