Firefighters and British Columbia support staff are deployed to Yukon to help fight two wildfires along the highway.
The Yukon government said in a statement that most of the 150 workers were focused on extinguishing the crystal creek and Upper Willow Creek fires on North Cloudic Highway.
A fire camp with kitchen facilities, warehouses and administration offices at Peli Crossroads will house a total of 165 people.
The state says 166 wildfires are currently burning in Yukon.
Environment Canada has issued a climate statement to five communities in response to wildfires.
In Dawson, Mayo, Old Crown and from Pelly to Karmax smoke is expected to occur.
The agency said the smoke was reducing visibility and people could increase coughs, sore throats, headaches or shortness of breath.
Children, the elderly, and those with heart disease or lung problems, such as asthma, are particularly at risk.
He said that wearing a local Canadian mask is generally not the best way to prevent contamination and can lead to a sense of insecurity. It encourages residents to reduce their physical activity and time outdoors.
It also advises people to check their weather forecasts and alerts to be aware of the dangers of wildfires, which contain many harmful chemicals.
Meanwhile, the BC Wildifre service has launched a fire on Sicilian media on both sides of the state-state border. It is estimated that 123 acres[123 ha]of Lake Tashkish, 47 miles[47 km]north of Atlin.
“Ground workers are on the scene with the support of Air Resources. The response is coordinated by BCWS and Yukon Durland Fire Management. BC and Yukon have a joint assistance agreement to respond quickly and efficiently to wildfires in the Commonwealth.” The page said.
